Dear Patients & Friends,

As you may have been aware, due to pandemic related financial difficulties American Sleep Medicine closed their center in San Diego/California in November 2021. Since then, we have been providing sleep medicine clinic services mainly through telemedicine and working on getting a new location to perform sleep study and operating sleep clinic.  Unfortunately, due to significant challenges related to operating cost and staffing of sleep lab/office and technical challenges related to telemedicine, we decided to stop our sleep clinic operations starting December 1, 2022 until further notice.  I will be focusing on my inpatient intensive care/pulmonary medicine practice at Scripps Mercy Hospital. This decision has been very difficult to make as it has been a great pleasure for me to serve you over years.

For medical care related to sleep medicine, you may consider other available sleep centers such as UCSD Health Sleep Center (844) 757-5337, or Scripps Clinic Sleep Center (858) 554-8845 for your ongoing medical care.  For obtaining medical records related to your sleep study, please contact American Sleep Medicine corporate office at (855) 875-3372.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Sincerely

Houman Dahi, MD
